January 2021: Starfish

I searched for the grief demon in my head and found it as an orange starfish.

It was changing its form into other aquatic creatures to confuse me and to try and make me stop, so I personified it and gave it eyes, deep and sad yellow eyes staring at me atop a hole full of pointy teeth, sharp as shards of glass.

It grew bigger and was now sitting in the empty chair in front of me, as I kept my eyes closed.

"What do you want from me?" I asked her.
"I want you to suffer" she said.

I knew I had to feed my body to her to make it stop, so I kept my eyes closed and I imagined my body turning into bubbles of air underwater, sitting in my chair.

When she was satisfied she turned into a brownish dry leaf.

January the 23rd, 2021.

THIS TRACK WAS ENTIRELY MADE ON IPAD. THE APPS USED TO MAKE THE PADS ON THE BACKGROUND ARE THE FREE RESONATOR, MODAL AND SPECTRAL APPS BASED ON THE MUTABLE INSTRUMENTS EURORACK MODULES. I ALSO USED RETRO PIANO AND FUGUE MACHINE WAS SEQUENCING EVERY APP.
