December 2020: Everything is love so everything hurts

A feeble light behind closed eyes, right above and between the eyes.
I haven’t been there for some time
because right now I need to feel the pain
and I need to be hurt.

We make the world a dark place.

We enslave other creatures to kill them and eat them
and I don’t think we entirely realise how bad that is,
maybe we justify ourselves thinking that that is necessary for our survival.

After all we killed our saviour
and we eat him and drink his blood in church every sunday.

Have you ever tried that strong feeling
of wanting to bite your loved ones?
The act of kissing is just that I suppose,
but at least you know when to stop.
Do you?

We consume each other in many ways and we get addicted to love
and we get addicted to hate.

We look at human history and we see acts of violence and acts of love and, if you tend towards the pessimistic side, you see Man as a pretty stupid creature who keeps on making those same selfish mistakes.

I find the idea of the Buddhist cycle of suffering as particularly fitting to a description of the human condition. I do hope there is hope for Man, but sometimes I just wait for the Earth’s poles to invert and the solar wind to destroy everything down here.

I'm so scared.

Sometimes I pity man but I am no better.
I eat animals, I kill spiders and I hurt people’s feelings in many ways.

Sometimes I think I should just stop moving and shut up if my every move and every word is not guided and motivated by love, and I do want to love and spread love...

...because I need love.

I ask myself, what really motivates man in doing acts of love?
I think it’s the same as what motivates him in doing acts of hate.

Suffering.

We all suffer and we should all accept that.
We should celebrate our suffering and maybe we should even accept that no one deserves to be loved and maybe love is not even the point of living. Maybe living is suffering and when you accept that you can free yourself once and for all...but these are just words.

Love is not difficult to find, love is everywhere and so is hate.

Lately I haven’t been searching for God because lately I’ve been searching for my pain. My pain makes me feel alive and gives me purpose as much as love does.

You know, my father used to take me to a Sunday school every Sunday when I was a kid and there I meditated, I did Yoga exercises and chanted chants with other kids. I now see older kids of 50 years old doing the same things and I find them stupid, because I stopped doing that and that is all superstition to me.

Nowadays everyone is free to do whatever they want and everyone is free to believe whatever they want.

God is dead, and when he did we all lost hope.

I don’t think we are living in a particularly virtuous era and I don’t see many values around. There is still a lot of good people, of course, but no direction. Everyone is left to their own means and Science and Medicine are the new gods.

Are there aliens in the universe who are maybe faring better than us? Probably, and I am sure that if they did not visit Earth already is because they are scared of us.
